Instrument Description:
This product is used in electronic and electrical products. Due to fault conditions such as fault current flowing through the leakage path, overheating of components or parts, and poor contact, it may cause flames. It may also shoot onto nearby parts. This test simulates the small flames generated inside the product under fault conditions and evaluates the fire hazard using simulation technology. When the hot wire test or horizontal vertical combustion test method is not suitable for small parts (or components), the needle flame test method can be cited. If the sample ignites during the hot wire test, the combustion hazard generated also requires a needle flame test. Suitable for components and parts of electronic and electrical products, household appliances, such as wiring boards, centrifugal switches, and rice cooker sockets.
