The QL3580I condensate total organic carbon detector TOC adopts advanced measurement methods, and the specific steps are as follows:
1. The water sample enters the reactor and reacts with acid, at which point the inorganic carbon in the water sample is converted into carbon dioxide;
2. Using non carbon dioxide air (instrument air) as the carrier gas, the inorganic carbon is converted into carbon dioxide and discharged. At this time, the total inorganic carbon (TIC) can be detected by an NDIR detector;
3. Then oxidize the water sample with TIC (total inorganic carbon) removed;
After oxidation is completed, the organic carbon is converted into carbon dioxide and discharged through a carrier gas, and the total organic carbon (TOC) content is detected by an NDIR detector.
