Working principle: Place the rubber sample into an almost completely enclosed mold cavity and maintain it at the test temperature. The mold cavity has two parts, the upper and lower parts, which move linearly in small oscillations (oscillation). The oscillation causes the sample to produce shear strain, and the reaction torque (force) of the sample on the mold cavity is measured. The magnitude of this torque (force) depends on the shear modulus of the rubber material. After the vulcanization test starts, the shear modulus of the sample increases, The computer displays and records torque (force) in real time. When the torque (force) rises to a stable or maximum value or even returns to a state, a curve of the relationship between torque (force) and time, namely the vulcanization curve, is obtained. The shape of the curve is related to the temperature of the test and the characteristics of the rubber material.
